At Partners we realize that a strong working partnership with our client is the best way to achieve results. Parallel to our objective to help our clients achieve their goals is to insure that our clients have the skills to sustain the development once the project is implemented. To that end, we offer a series of workshops and facilitation experiences to assist those clients who wish to deepen their understanding of the development process , or any phase therein, for the purposes of broadening their scope of vision and insuring sustainability of their project. Our workshops tend to be small, intimate working sessions centered around our client's project or proposed project. Our attendees feel the value added by attending our programs is not only the learning but the networks and support systems they identify through there participation.
Some of our more popular programs include:
PROJECT FEASIBILITY STUDIES AND PROJECT PLANS:
There's a brilliant idea every second, however executing an idea is where the rubber meets the road. In this program we explore what makes a good project? What needs does your project fill? Do you have a market? Do you have a labor force or production facilities to support development of your product or service? Realistically what financing options are available to you? Do you have a clearly identified path of development from start to finish? These are just some of the questions that you can expect to explore during this workshop.
DESIGNING AN EFFECTIVE FINANCING PLAN:
An effective financing is one that fits the project. Too often, lenders impose their institutional preferences on projects with the result that the project ends up being designed to fit the financing. The primary focus of this training is to identify project needs and revenue producing capacity and then develop a financing structure to accommodate those characteristics.
Likewise, no one class of lenders or investors provides the full spectrum of financing products. In this training we share our experience in selecting the most efficient financing mechanisms to meet specific project needs and identifying the most active providers of those products with the objective of achieving a timely closing.
IDENTIFYING TEAM MEMBERS AND UNDERSTANDING THEIR ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS
A project's success depends largely on the team members. Regardless of the size of your project assembling the right people to successfully complete the project can be difficult, risky and potentially time-consuming. In this program we walk through how to identify the players, how to determine reporting relationships, strategies for designing the project organizational structure and how to evaluate professional service providers.
BUILDING A BUSINESS PLAN
There are literally thousands of training courses available that teach the basics of business planning. At Partners, we offer a slightly different approach. While we do cover the basics of a comprehensive business plan, we prefer to work directly with your specific project. This particular program is generally tailored specifically to our individual client needs. We have discovered through experience in working collaboratively with our clients that when we use their specific project, we can contribute our experience, critical thinking skills and analytical know-how, and can help reduce frustrations in getting started and empower our clients to build a strong business case.
